Statement
My Practice
I create digital artworks exploring the fluid boundaries of identity, memory and reality. Working natively onchain since 2021, my practice has developed as a kind of open archive: a recurring cast of characters instantiated again and again across collections; as profile pictures, 1/1 illustrations, AI-assisted reinterpretations, derivative remixes and published experiments. Each version inheriting a shared visual DNA while expressing something different about who is performing an identity, and in what context.

Blending science fiction and ancient mythology through playful experimentation, my work builds bridges between forgotten pasts and imagined futures. Defined by bold graphic line work and a signature neon pastel palette, my soft yet electric tones build dreamlike, techno-organic environments connecting the bioelectric with mycelial networks, where mythic figures find a sense of home on alien worlds. Ultimately my artworks are visual inquiries into the gaps of human perception, inviting viewers to question the uncertainty of their own surroundings and find familiarity within the surreal.

About Me
Aoife O’Dwyer is a self-taught digital artist and illustrator based in Limerick, Ireland, creating dreamlike worlds at the intersection of identity, memory and internet culture.
